From the fields of Pampore, with nobody in between
NutsAndCrafts began with saffron and a stubborn idea: you should know exactly where your food comes from, and the people who grow it should be paid fairly for it.

Where it started
A simple question nobody could answer
Every autumn the crocus fields around Pampore bloom purple, and families pick the flowers by hand in the early morning. Then most of that harvest disappears into a long chain of traders.
By the time it reached a shop shelf, nobody could tell you whose field it came from — or whether it was the same saffron at all.

What we decided
Buy from the people who grow it
So we did the obvious thing. We buy directly from the farmers in Pampore and Lethpora, pay them for their harvest, and send it to you ourselves. No trader in between, no blending, no repacking somewhere we cannot see.
The same idea now covers our dry fruits, honey, shilajit, oils and kehwa: find the source, buy from it, and keep the chain short enough that we can stand behind every jar.

Where we are now
Still small, on purpose
NutsAndCrafts is three of us, a handful of growers we know by name, and a packing table in Lethpora. We would rather sell less and know everything about it than sell more and guess.
What we stand for
Four rules we don't bend
Nobody in between
We buy straight from growers and co-operatives, so more of what you pay reaches the field.
Checked before it ships
Every lot is looked at, smelled and tasted before it is packed. Shilajit goes to an accredited lab.
Honest labels
We tell you where it is from and what it is — and what we do not claim. Food, never medicine.

Write or call and you reach one of the founders, every day from 6 AM to 11 PM.
Field to home
Four hands, not forty
Step 1: Grown
Hand-picked by families in Pampore and Lethpora.
Step 2: Bought
Straight from them, at the farm gate.
Step 3: Checked & packed
Sorted, sealed fresh in Lethpora.
Step 4: Delivered
Sent to your door, anywhere in India.
Being upfront
We don't hold the official Kashmir Saffron GI tag — our saffron is grown inside the GI region and bought from the farmers there, and we say exactly that. Everything we sell is food, not medicine. If anything you buy is not what we said it was, tell us and we will refund or replace it.
How we source and checkTaste the difference a short chain makes
Start with the saffron that started it all, or say hello — we read every message.
